              Lacework is a leading cloud security and automation platform that provides and end-to-end experience with better context, more intelligence, and more sophisticated threat detection with revenue exceeding $30.0M and 100 employees.  Employed as a temporary contractor through BVOH.

               ·     As a temporary Controller provided support for the transition between the outgoing and incoming Accounting Managers.
                 ·     Using Excel, improved timeliness and accuracy of the depreciation and semi-monthly payroll processes. 

 

Switchfly Inc – Consultant to CFO Corporate Controller (2019)

              Switchly is a leading ecommerce platform that powers dynamic packaging, loyalty and other online travel solutions for airlines, finanacial services companies, hotels and other travel brands with revenue exceeding $50.0M and 100 employees.  Employed as a temporary independent contractor.

                ·     Developed aformal contract to billing process with flowcharts improving accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition.
                ·     Provided analysis and recommendations for improvements in accounting processes.
                ·     Using Excel, improved efficiency of prepaid recognition process.
          ·     Assisted in company's San Francisco tax Registration.
 
   

Textainer Inc – Consultant to Corporate Controller (2019)

              Textainer is a publicly traded company with offices worldwide and revenue exceeding $700.0M and 200 employees.  Employed as a temporary contractor through the DeWinter Group.

                ·     Developed and improved bank reconciliation processes for 20 bank accounts.
                ·     Provided recommendations for long-term improvements of accounting infrastructure.
                ·     Assisted in monthly and quarterly closes for quicker turnaround.   
 

 

Nurx Inc – Consultant to Head of Finance (2018)

              Nurx is a website drug dispensing service with revenue exceeding $7.5M and 100 employees.  Employed as a temporary contractor through BVOH.

                ·     Developed accounting infrastructure from its inception.
                ·     Updated historical financial information bolstering its integrity.
                ·     Structured data to maximize information and accessibility for financial planning and analysis.
          ·     Created spreadsheets to provide detailed support to all reported financial information.
          ·     Established daily accounting routine for incoming staff accountant.       

  

Automile Inc – Interim Controller (2018)

             Automile is a fleet tracking software service with revenue exceeding $6.0M and 30 employees.  Employed as a temporary contractor through BVOH. 

                ·     Developed and provided international consolidated financial statements to CFO.
                ·     Refined financial information and accounting infrastructure improving efficiency, effectiveness and accessibility for analytical purposes.
                ·     Developed with legal team transfer pricing policies between the US, Sweden and Norway.
          ·     Registered and filed sales taxes for 12 states.

Lotlinx Inc  – Controller (2014 – 2017)

Lotlinx provides deep linking technology for car dealerships to create direct sales leads to car inventorywebsites with revenue exceeding $25.0M and 100 employees. 

·     Developed an efficient and effective international accounting infrastructure, including restructuring of chart of accounts, upgrading of Quickbooks and improving reconciliations resulting in savings of $2.5M.

·         Managed all facets of the company’s financial processes in the U.S. and Canada resulting in reduction of month-end close process from 15 days to 5 days.

·         Successfully merged U.S. and Canadian accounting systems.

·         Supervised accounting staff of four in the U.S. and Canada. 

·         Provided international consolidated financial statements adjusting for currency fluctuations.

·     Provided monthly financial reports and analyses to CFO, CEO and investors.

·         Restructured chart of accounts and financial information improving efficiency, effectiveness and accessibility for analytical purposes reducing monthly close from 10 to 5 days.

Dealix Corporation - Controller (2000 - 2006)

Dealix was an internet lead provider service. Company experienced revenue growth from $3.0M to $75.0M and employee growth from 10 to 110.  Founders successfully sold company in 2004.

·         Provided weekly and monthly financial reports to CFO, President and CEO.

·         Upgraded automated financial information systems improving efficiency and effectiveness reducing month end close from 10 to 5 days.

·         Developed firm’s human resource policy and stock option plan using FAS 123 guidelines.

Iverson Financial Systems - Controller (1993 - 1999)
